These booms are recommended for openwaters such as large lakes, bays, harbors orocean environments. Top cable isrecommended when several hundred feet aredeployed. 3/8" chain ballast is recommendedwhen tidal flows or currents exist.

NEO Self-Inflating, Rapid-Deployment Boom

NEO Boom is a strong, durable boom thatcombines the compactability of an air-inflatedboom with all the benefits of a boom withconventional foam flotation. NEO Boomrequires approximately 1/3 the storage spaceneeded for conventional booms, and can bedeployed by fewer personnel. NEO Boom'sspecial flotation foam is self-expanding, whichmakes mobilization and deployment a muchsimpler task.
